Zach Davidson Signs to active roster
Davidson was signed to the Vikings' active roster Saturday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Analysis: Davidson was selected in the fifth round of the 2021 Draft and has yet to play an NFL game. With Chris Herndon possibly out Sunday against the Bears due to COVID, Davidson will get a chance to provide depth at tight end Sunday.
Zach Davidson Let go by Minnesota
Davidson was waived by the Vikings on Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Analysis: A rookie fifth-round pick, Davidson was unable to convince the Vikings he was worth a spot on the initial 53-man roster. However, Minnesota would like to have him on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
