Bryant caught one of three targets for nine yards in Week 18's 21-16 win over the Bengals.
Analysis: Bryant saw his three-game touchdown streak end, but the second-year tight end had a pair of red-zone targets, giving him five looks inside the 20 over the final four weeks of the season. He didn't pop much in 2021, settling in as the third tight end, but he managed to post numbers similar to his mildly surprising rookie campaign of 2020, when he out-snapped veteran David Njoku. The three touchdowns in the final quarter of the season helped. Looking ahead to 2022, both he and starting tight end Austin Hooper are under contract and there's talk that the Browns will bring back Njoku. That would mean little change among the position group. If Njoku doesn't return, then Bryant takes on a larger role next season.
Harrison Bryant Scores in third straight game
Bryant caught his lone target for a one-yard touchdown reception in Monday's 26-14 loss to Pittsburgh.
Analysis: Bryant's managed to salvage his second NFL season with touchdowns in three consecutive contests. He and fellow tight end David Njoku accounted for both of Cleveland's touchdowns, giving the position group a team-high 10 touchdown catches in 2021. Cleveland involves its tight ends -- the group has 28 red zone looks, one fewer than wideouts and running backs combined -- so there's value to be had here. The issue becomes choosing the right one on gameday.
