Brandon Powell Cleared of injury designation
Powell (ribs) doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's divisional-round matchup with the Rams, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Powell was limited during the first two practices of the week but was able to fully participate Friday. He's expected to operate as the Rams' primary return man Sunday. In six games with Los Angeles, he's totaled 208 kick return yards and 133 punt return yards, including a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Vikings in Week 16.
Brandon Powell Signed to Rams' active roster
Powell was signed to the Rams' active roster Wednesday.
Analysis: The wide receiver was reverted to the practice squad Monday but was quickly signed to the active roster just two days later. Powell will likely serve as a top return option for the Rams' special-teams unit in Week 18 against the 49ers.
