Moore will sign a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Texans on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Analysis: Moore began the 2021 campaign on the Texans' practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for several games early in the season before landing a permanent roster spot in mid-October. He showed glimpses of potential, including his Week 5 performance against the Patriots in which he hauled in all five of his targets for 109 yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old will presumably have to compete for a roster spot once again during training camp in 2022.
Chris Moore Scores in finale
Moore caught three of three targets for 38 yards and a 28-yard touchdown in Week 18's 28-25 loss to Tennessee.
Analysis: Moore scored his second touchdown and first since Week 5. He was normally involved in every game, but played more than 30 percent of the offensive snaps just four times in 12 games. The 28-year-old wide receiver enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, while the franchise enters what appears to be a busy offseason.
