The Marlins reinstated Brazoban (hamstring/hip) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis: Brazoban has been on the injured list since Aug. 14 due to a strained left hamstring and also was battling a left hip impingement. He gave up three runs over 2.2 innings during his rehab assignment with Triple-A Jacksonville and will serve as a bullpen depth piece as Miami fights for a playoff spot. Tanner Scott was placed on the paternity list in a corresponding move.
Huascar Brazoban Set for rehab assignment
Brazoban (hamstring/hip) is beginning a rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A Jacksonville, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis: Out since mid-August due to a left hamstring strain and left hip impingement, Brazoban might become an option again for the Marlins' bullpen leading into the final week of the regular season. He registered a 4.29 ERA and 60:31 K:BB across 56.2 innings prior to landing on the injured list.
