Paris underwent surgery Monday to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, MLB.com reports.
Analysis: Paris suffered the injury Sept. 16, and his season officially ended a couple days after that when he was placed on the 60-day injured list. He'll be rehabbing at the beginning of the offseason but is expected to be 100 percent for spring training.
