Justin Anderson Gets minors deal from White Sox

Anderson signed a minor-league contract with the White Sox on Wednesday.

Analysis: It's not clear whether Anderson received an invitation to the major-league side of spring training as part of the deal. The right-handed reliever collected a 6.87 ERA over 24 appearances in the minors in the Royals organization this season. He last pitched in the big leagues in 2019.

Justin Anderson Latches on with Royals

Anderson signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Wednesday.

Analysis: Anderson last pitched in the majors in 2019, having undergone Tommy John surgery back in July of 2020. The 30-year-old displayed plenty of bat-missing ability during his time with the Angels, so he seems worthy of a no-risk flier. He'll report to Triple-A Omaha.
