Jamison Crowder Joining forces with Buffalo

The Bills and Crowder agreed to a one-year contract Monday, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports.

Analysis: Buffalo has found its replacement at slot receiver after cutting loose Cole Beasley last week. Crowder had a down year for his standards in 2021, missing five games due to injury and finishing with a 51-447-2 line on 71 targets. With the upgrade in quarterback from Zach Wilson to Josh Allen, Crowder could be in line for a rebound as he joins forces with Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis at wide receiver.

Jamison Crowder Expected to hit free agency

The Jets are expected to let Crowder (calf) test free agency, DJ Bien-Aime of the New York Daily News reports.

Analysis: Crowder inked a three-year, $28.5 million deal with the Jets back in 2019, but the veteran slot receiver's role on offense has since dwindled following the emergence of Elijah Moore. The soon-to-be 29-year-old posted his least productive season with New York across 12 appearances in 2021, with just 447 receiving yards and two scores. Soft tissue issues forced Crowder to miss five games last year, including a calf injury that forced him out of the season finale, but it looks like he will be fully healthy by the time he hits the open market.
