Allen caught just four of his nine targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 34-13 win over the Broncos.
Analysis: Allen struggled to gain much separation in this contest, often matching up against sensational rookie Patrick Surtain, with the Broncos cornerback routinely getting the upper hand. The veteran wide receiver did tally his 100th reception for the third consecutive season and appears poised for another solid game next week in a win-and-you're-in divisional battle against the Raiders.
Keenan Allen Blanketed by Texans
Allen recorded four receptions on six targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 41-29 loss to the Texans.
Analysis: For the second time in his last three games, Allen was held to less than 40 receiving yards. The six targets were his lowest in a game since Week 6 and snapped a seven-contest stretch during which he got at least eight looks in the passing game. Given his track record, Allen has a good chance to bounce back in Week 17 against Denver despite a relatively difficult matchup.
