Lee underwent a cleanup procedure on his left shoulder Friday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Analysis: Lee posted a 4.18 ERA and 1.35 WHIP through 23.2 innings in 2023. However, Lee missed a large portion of the season due to inflammation in his left shoulder, so he underwent surgery in order to address the issue directly. The 29-year-old southpaw is expected to be ready for spring training.
Dylan Lee Shifts to 60-day IL
Lee (shoulder) was transferred from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list Sunday.
Analysis: The left-hander landed on the shelf with shoulder inflammation last week, and his move to the 60-day IL officially ends his season. Lee was a decent bullpen piece for Atlanta in 2023 with a 4.18 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 24:8 K:BB across 23.2 innings.
