Michael Bandy Inks new deal with Chargers
The Chargers signed Bandy to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.
Analysis: Bandy was active for one game this season, failing to register a target while racking up 88 kick-return yards in Week 16 against the Texans. The wide receiver will remain with the Chargers in 2022, providing him opportunity to play a larger role in the team's offense.
Michael Bandy Heads back to practice squad
Bandy reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Bandy played 10 offensive snaps and six special-team snaps during Sunday's loss to the Texans. He didn't receive a target, but he did return four kickoffs for 88 yards. If Mike Williams and Jalen Guyton are unable to clear protocols this week, Bandy may see a similar workload in Week 17.
