Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Prepared for bigger role

Westbrook-Ikhine believes he is prepared to step into a bigger role in the Titans' offense, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Analysis: The Titans' receiving corps was overhauled this offseason, as both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are no longer on the roster. While the team acquired Robert Woods (knee) and drafted Treylon Burks, Westbrook-Ikhine should be in a position to improve upon the 38 receptions he posted in 2021. He should begin the season on the field regularly in three-receiver sets and could be in line to share snaps out of the slot with Woods.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Shifts up depth chart

Westbrook-Ikhine is currently the second receiver on Tennessee's depth chart after the team released Julio Jones on Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN reports.

Analysis: Westbrook-Ikhine joined the Titans as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2020 season and was a significant contributor to the team in 2021. He posted 38 receptions for 476 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games, highlighted by a 107-yard performance in Week 11 against Houston. Though Westbrook-Ikhine is currently penciled in behind only A.J. Brown on Tennessee's wide receiver depth chart, it's likely that that the team will add players at the position either in free agency or in the draft.
