Stanley Morgan Back with Cincinnati
Morgan signed a two-year contract with the Bengals on Monday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
Analysis: Morgan didn't factor much into the team's passing game a season ago, and he will likely serve as receiver depth and a solid special teams option in 2022. During his first three seasons with Cincinnati, he's tallied five receptions for 29 yards on 14 total targets and has one rushing attempt for three yards. Morgan also finished with 22 yards as a kick returner a season ago.
Stanley Morgan Set to become free agent
Morgan won't be tendered by the Bengals, so he'll become a free agent when the new league year starts March 16, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
Analysis: Morgan appeared in all 17 of the Bengals' regular season games, but he wasn't a factor during their playoff run due to a hamstring issue. Regardless, he operated mostly on special teams and caught just two of four targets for 11 yards during the 2021 campaign. It's unclear what type of market the 25-year-old wideout will garner in free agency.
