Alek Thomas Out against left-hander

Thomas is not in the lineup Tuesday for Game 7 of the NLCS against the Phillies.

Analysis: Southpaw Ranger Suarez is taking the ball for the Phils, so the left-handed hitting Thomas will take a seat. There's a good chance Thomas will enter the game eventually once Philadelphia goes to its bullpen. Corbin Carroll will shift over to center field while Tommy Pham handles right.

Alek Thomas Sitting for Game 4

Thomas isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup for Game 4 of the NLCS against Philadelphia.

Analysis: With left-hander Cristopher Sanchez set to start on the mound for the Phillies, the lefty-hitting Thomas will retreat to the bench for the beginning of Friday's contest. Lourdes Gurriel, Corbin Carroll and Tommy Pham will start across the outfield while Thomas sits.
